This morning for breakfast:
A wedge of sweet orange flesh honeydew, two toasted slices of hatch sourdough bread. Both toasts spread with cream cheese, one topped with apricot jelly and the other topped with hot apple pie jam.
I've been very much suckered into some junk reading lately... just as addictive as junk food, although I like to think it's not quite as bad for you. I'm finishing up the last of three "The Cat Who..." books I picked up at the library. Terribly sad- Lillian Jackson Braun's idea of a mystery has no suspense whatsoever. I'm still entertained by them, although they're starting to turn into that annoying friend whose mannerisms get to you after a while so you just tune them out.
Also on the reading list are lots of Agatha Christie and Terry Pratchett. Sadly, I'm running out of Pratchetts (has anyone read any of his non-Discworld books? I haven't but am afraid to be disappointed). I might never run out of Dame Agatha, but have been reading her mysteries so much that I'm always one step ahead of the protagonist, which is irksome.
