Causing pain, cause and effect
No one suspects because of offenses
The catalyst to the strategy
Dodging the debris, ducking the crowd
Making sure no one sees the shadows
Never saying the words aloud
Avoiding glances, hiding from stares
It's an addiction that's cold in veins
A habit that's much too hard to break
Regret decisions, ignore the pain
Unworthy of people, undeserving of the words
Break things, push you away
Watching you go and wondering why
Wishing you'd stay for just one more day
Chalk it up to another reason of worthlessness.
