A date
Last night I went over to N's place and she cooked dinner. We did a lot of talking, drinking & flirting. It was nice. Something I've been needing for a while. The talking was mostly about work & relationships. N is very much career oriented and I fed off of her zeal as she talked about her kids. She teaches in San Marcos. Drinking was fun too. Mostly I just pop the cork and swill. She made this godiva chocolate, vanilla vodka, crushed ice thingy and we went out to the pool and talked. After we finished drinks it was laying on the couch and flirting.
Mostly what I got out of last night was being out with someone, having interesting conversations, no sexual pressure, and going home feeling full-filled. Still wanted to have sex but didn't have "need to" urge.
Cory is spending the weekend with his sister so I'll probably head out to R&S new place. Unlike last year I haven't spent too much time with them. I know it's because of getting sucked into work and I wish I could say that I was doing something about it but this project is going to be crazy until it ends in October. But it will be good to get away.
Rakis is coming up. A few more people have tacked onto the list of going to be there. Although I won't be in my traditional festive fun, this will definitely be a good event. With everyone so spread out we don't get together as a group near enough any more. Why is it only the married ones will drink with me any more
