I got to work with two amazing people and writers stardustcities & rosivan! They're wonderfully splendid people and I'm so honored I got the chance to work with them both (and get to know them, exchanging e-mails with them was always more fun than I think such a thing should be). The fic really a great read! You should totes hit it up!

Fic Master Post: (Not been given the link yet. Look at you lucky ducks getting to see this all early and stuff!)
Fic Summary: In a smoky bar in the 1920s, Erik Lehnsherr is losing himself in the slide of piano keys under his fingers, drifting from night to night and drink to drink. When a new dancer, Cherry, takes the club by storm, Erik is happy to finally have found someone he can play for. Unbeknownst to him, Cherry is actually Charles, masquerading as a female dancer to help pay for his sister Raven's schooling. Between misunderstandings and secrets, they end up closer than either of them would have ever expected -- but trust is hard to earn and harder to give, and they both have to learn how to truly let each other in.

...Charles let his body loose, his hips canting to one side as he slid one leg out, toes pointed, arm extending back to slide his fingers up the ceiling-to-floor iron pole. It felt familiar, and Charles let himself swing around it, working his shoulders into the dance, his body shimmering with Erik's rhythm.

No specific part gave me this image. When reading summaries for which fic to claim, this image just came to mind so clearly when reading the summary that I needed to be the artist for this fic.

A quick sketch I did for:
