my new power cord arrived! It seems to not quite fit as snugly in the socket as the old one, but it powers the laptop, and I think at 4 or 5 years old my laptop is apparently ancient so I am happy there is even a power cord that works.

so I hope I can finish the fic I owe soon. gah.

eta: eerie, but I was going through my Twin Peaks lj tag, and my last Twin Peaks marathon was two years ago, nearly to the day.
