spent much of today alternately hacking away at Sentinel 11 and reinstalling everything on my computer. There is one major folder that appears not to have been saved before we nuked my harddrive, which makes me sad, but it's gone now.
Adapted a recipe that turned out pretty damn yummy. The original was sans tomatoes, called for rosemary, and involved penne pasta, which I just didn't see the point of given the potatoes.
Roasted Potatoes with Argula
1. cut up some red potatoes. Toss with olive oil and seasonings. Roast at 400 F until start to turn golden brown.
2. thinly slice a small red onion. Saute in oil until it starts to brown.
3. Turn down the heat. Stir in potatoes, some halved cherry tomatoes, about four cloves of finely diced garlic, and a bunch of arugula, until argula wilts.
4. Toss with some lemon juice. Serve warm, with some parmesan if you so desire.
Since my writing brain wore itself out, I've been contemplating the many fictional possibilities of this Vanity Fair spread. Old, yeah. But. But. so gorgeous. Some of my little mental scenarios don't even end in porn!
