spent much of today alternately hacking away at Sentinel 11 and reinstalling everything on my computer. There is one major folder that appears not to have been saved before we nuked my harddrive, which makes me sad, but it's gone now.

I officially have internet back on my laptop. We had to nuke the whole thing and start over, but I managed to get my files off the hard drive first. This baby is four or five years old and had never been reformatted, so apparently it was time. I owe my younger brother a nice dinner now. I am sorely tempted to go checkout one of those mini me laptops, and jadefire88 is not helping matters any, instead she's totally encouraging me to go plunk down money I shouldn't spend. the magic tool my younger brother has doesn't fit my laptop's hard drive, so we have to order a different one. I'm currently stealing computer time on a desktop circa 1997.
