Okay, I will never, ever make fun of "The View" again.

I'm going to tell everyone, upfront, that I will probably not be able to refrain from the occasional political rant as we ramp up to the November election. Just scroll on by if this kind of thing isn't your cup of tea. Most of my ire seems centered on the media these days anyway. The politicians can't help but be ridiculous lying fools. That's their job. But the media? Their job, theoretically, is to report the truth, not the talking points. Yeah, I'm a little naive, still, in hoping that will happen someday.

It's a really sad day when the hosts of "The View," a daytime talk show, are the ones asking the hard-hitting questions of a presidential candidate.

After trying to interject about 20 "buts," Goldberg finally was able to restate her question, which was that, since this is a nation filled not only with Judeo-Christian believers but also with "Muslims ... Zoroastrians ... [and] Wiccans," as president, should he win, would McCain govern this nation "as God would have you do it, or do you govern this nation for the greater good of the people in it?"

Hello, mainstream news media, the women of "The View" are upstaging you.

DO YOUR JOBS.
