i always found that the Vice time lines are kind of sketchy. You really don't know how much time has passed from the beginning of meeting caitlin to the end because the episode right after the wedding still has sonny on a case - where was that two week honeymoon? i never thought much about billy going to the safe house - i guess it was safe even if no one on the Vice team knew how to put pressure on a bleeding wound. and i think tubbs and castillo exchanged "glances" when it was obvious, after meeting sonny at the marina, that he indeed banged the witness. it seems like that wouldn't be a surprise to anyone aware of his track record

Heh. I still have this episode to look forward to on my Tivo. But Monday night I bit the bullet and watched both "Missing Hours" and "The Big Thaw" at the urging of the meta, and it's gonna take a bit to recover

did i ask you to re cap "the big thaw" and "missing hours"? if i did, that was mean and i take it back. honestly, i can't decide which one is worse, but i have to give the edge to "missing hours" just because it could maybe be the worst hour of television i've ever seen. the graphics alone - when james brown's face turns in to clouds and then in to trudy???? Season 4 writers - put DOWN the crack pipe!

i am agreeing with amonitrate. sheena coulda been way worse, and she improved as her episodes went on. i mean, she really wasn't given much to do other than whine about being married to a cop. and make out with the crock.

I know, but how is it possible to screw those two up?
Besides, I disagree: she also had to sell her backstory as the bitter, screwed-over musician out to take down the music industry evildoers as vengeance for her dead partner (hello recurring MV trope!). And so no. Nooooooooooo.

you can only imagine how i react to her "music industry" episodes. you're probably right about the sheen-ster, but i feel like they wrote her so poorly there wasn't much should could do. like most women on Vice she went from being strong and out spoken to clingy and whiney.

I think her writing in the first ep was pretty decent, even if the plot was rushed. But she just couldn't pull it off. Later, she had some not so great writing but got better at the acting. So it kind of evened out!
