I finally had my little car towed. Needs a new clutch, but brakes are ok. I'm considering selling it once it's happy again.
We had a big bbq on Saturday. It went very well, but I heard afterward that our next door neighbors, who came over with their daughter and daughter's friend in tow (and a total of 2 hamburgers to cook), were going around introducing the daughter's friend to our male guests with the line, "This is Tiffany... she's not married!"
Unemployment appears to have run out. Not much for me to do about that.
Thomas has had a paper accepted to a prestigious conference. He will be presenting the paper in December in Japan. I'd really like to go, plus I'd love to keep my car, so I'm redoubling my employment efforts.
