Haha--awesome fucking day. Got together with Ronnie this afternoon, grabbed some lunch, and just ran around town ALL day. I was on a mission to find "Puffer Balls" which are like a balloon with little rubber spikes on them---I had to get them for my boss, 'cause his last name is Puffer, and I know he'd get a kick out of it. We went around to toy stores, and looked and looked--finally found 'em at the dollar store (THANK YOU RONNIE!). Went to Sam's, dropped them off, got a laugh, made sure that my new contacts were comin' in tomorrow, grabbed a smoothie, and headed out.
More stores, spent hardly any money--awesomeness. All day just wandering around and browsing--almost buying stuff, but not.
On my way home, I stopped by Family Dollar, just to look around---some scary black dude comes up to me, "You like movies?" Uh. Sure. "I got some movies in my little shack here, wanna take a look?" Uh. No thanks. "You little white girls are so scared of us scary black men, aren't you???" Naw. I'd be more scared if you were a strange white dude. "Why?" 'Cause a crazy white dude won't just rape you and kill you, he'll eat your remains afterwards.
He laughed. I didn't. I walked away.
Time to get some shit done around the house.
