I love how much tasty music, video, and information is available to us through the interwebz.
The only unfortunate thing about being a media addict is the fact that downloading the digital goods eats up hard drive space.
I had recently started apprpoaching max. density on my long-suffering computer, and so it was time for drastic measures.
Despite my deep love for the virtual world, however, I am still fond of actually going to physical store locations to purchase things. A quick trip to Microcenter, and I am now the proud owner of a 1TB hard drive from Western Digital (for abbout $100).
A whole fucking Terabyte of external storage! !!
Considering that my first computer had 250 MB of hard drive space, which seemed perfectly sufficient at the time, this drive is ridiculously huge. ...almost infinite.
Why is it that I have a nagging suspicion that within about 6 months I'll be dealing with this out of room issue again? :)
