Work
Well I've now actually started work and am on my first official day off. Overall not impressed with the training. Monday was spent filling in work books. Yesterday I was only in for the afternoon. I was on till training. It was meant to be a session from 2-5. We didn't start till 2.30 as the person who we were told was doing the training had to rush off somewhere else.So a different trainer stepped into the gap. This meant he was late having his lunch so told us to sit and have a cup of tea while he had lunch. The training then finished at 4. I realise that most of us who were trained in the afternoon are only relief cashiers but still I don't think much of it. Ah well when we're slow and don't really know what we're doing I can see where the blame will be put!
I've got my specific job training tomorrow. I hope this is fuller than things so far. I keep being told that Tanya who I'll be working with is lovely but I haven't met her.
Still no rota for when I'm working. So I haven't a clue what hours I'm working on store opening day (Friday). If they don't make it clear tomorrow its going to be one whole huge mess. Also they haven't taken things like bank details to pay us. They talked about getting references and CRB checks for key holders and some other people in roles of responsibility but again nothing has been asked for. This leaves me felling a bit like they haven't a clue whats actually going on.
Whinge over now.
