Ok, maybe I was a little premature about the house thing.
We took a second look at it today, and the rain we had last night just added more to what was in the basement. I don't know where it's leaking from, and frankly if it's in the insulation... hell no.
We're still waiting for an appraisal our current house. Our land lady has made the offer of holding the mortgage for us. I guess we'll have to see. If I don't have to move, I'm throwing a party. I hate packing.
