Where have all the good books gone?
Sadly I am to the point that I need a good RP or I'm going to go not so quietly insane.
It seems like all my current story-lines in GJ are leading to the same place and I just want something new and fresh. I want something that will get me out of this rut and maybe motivate my brain into actually producing something readable and FUN.
I'm reading through all the intro's I created a couple years ago, for a few stories that never went anywhere and I'm amazed that I actually wrote them. If you took a comparison of the crap I write now, and that... It's just depressing.
I miss Lucian, the Graylocs, and the Shati's. And I doubly miss my fantasy stories.
I've read so many books in the past two weeks that my book case is in complete disarray, most of them re-read (the interesting ones at least). Maybe it's time to break out the big guns and read through "The Deed of Paksenarrion" again, that should take me a week, if I don't skim.
Anyone have suggestions for some great books to read? Maybe I'll hit the book-store tomorrow.

Side note - My mother in-law is the most amazing cook. I don't know how we manage to get through Thanks Giving, Christmas or Easter, because we always seem to eat too much. I need at least two days to recover.
