T.T

Amles.... What happened to my teddy bear? My fluff monster? My Amles is supposed to be sweet and snuggly! Not depressing and aware of the darkness within genetics!! Fix it... t.t

*sigh* I couldn't find a single thing wrong with the fic. Maybe I'm biased but this was just too sad, too earthy, and too realistic.

Wondering when she'll get fluff again. (And wondering when she started looking forward to fluff!)

Aww, I made you want fluff and then I’m not giving it to you, how very badly done!! The prompt made me do it! (I don’t think I have any pure fluff at all planned at the moment!) Ha ha, no, I’m not apologizing ;) I tried very hard not to make the comfort part too fluffy, so thank you for this reaction. :D

It makes me happy to see you didn’t find anything wrong with it.:D

That's so mean. You PURPOSEFULLY took away any of my fluff? But..but you're my flufflemonster! What am I supposed to do without your cheery-silly attitude to balance me out?!

*giggles* ^^

Well, I think it would have been unfair to the prompt if it went like this:

"Oh, thanks for explaining the reason why I can't have kids, I feel much better now!" Molly said with a relieved smile.

"I'm glad I could help, Sweetheart", Mohinder replied and patted her head. "Hey, let's go get some ice cream and we can have a movie night. And then maybe you and Micah can go with me and Matt and help us chose a puppy?"

"Okay," Molly said and hugged her Daddy Mo. "We'll do that - and maybe we'll get our own puppy. Micah always wanted one."

It wouldn't be so bad, she thought. A soft, snuggly puppy with big floppy ears, small enough to sit in her lap. She imagined big brown eyes looking adoringly at her and her heart melted at the thought, and her pain melted with it like the last remains of snow melts away in the sunshine of long bright April days.

Voilà! *giggles*

(*giggling madly, enough to get worried stares from my cousin*)

Oh, that'd have been perfect! I imagine that Molly would feel -exactly- like that in such a situation. No heartache at all! I mean, why bother? Puppies are adorable!

Haha, ok, you may have a tiny point....

Are you seriously not writing any fluff at all right now? Does that mean I have to? 'cause I totally don't know how. You'd have to give me a prompt, or a death metal song, or something.

Ha ha, thank you! ;)

Well, no, not exactly any fluff… I have a couple of fics still unposted: Noah/Angela, not fluffy but nothing too ”explicit” either… young!Angela/Adam, friendship but not pure fluff, and Peter & Noah/Angela, still not fluffy (but “not fluffy” doesn’t have to mean dark angst!), and I’m still working on my The Graduate/The Devil Wears Prada xover which is not fluff (I don’t expect you to read it!), and I have a short 8 femmes oneshot not at all fluffy (again not your fandom I believe!). Hmm, that’s all, I think. I try not to post too often because I want to give the few people who read the time to do so…

Then this “kink meme” gives me things to do! I’m working on a prompt now that involves Mohinder, Chandra and the words “sick and twisted.” Yes, you heard me… ;) Oh, I don’t expect to do it justice but something made me want to try.

But I’m thinking about writing a fluffy, or at least a romantic, DWP fic involving an owl somehow. I have an LJ friend who likes owls. But for Heroes, no. I’ll say what you said: ( ... )

We've already talked about some of these things, I'm writing this now because yes, I'm distracted and I don't know, maybe you're awake when I go to sleep... :)

Um, I'm obviously into The Devil Wears Prada (which my lazy fingers shortens to DWP... that other thing, PWP, is not something that comes very natural to me...) for femslash reasons. It's totally understandable that you only tried and failed to watch it because in all honesty, the movie itself is full of crap in many ways. (Some fangirls think it's the most awesome ever but I don't go that far.) Yes, but the fanfic is something else, it obviously surpasses the movie (imo). When I watched it I was like "???" for a long time but then I was drawn in to the point of being utterly surprised by the ending until I realized that the ending and the things that upset me a bit were supposed to be logical in most ppl's eyes and I had "misinterpreted" the whole thing. In other words, I watched it with my femslash glasses on and then I became a fanfic reader! I guess Miranda gives you the ( ... )

Got up about three hours ago, so about four hours of sleep. Gonna have to go to bed early tonight to recoup.

Oh! DWP+owl is much less creepy now. XD Nah, Miranda doesn't spark any boxing urge in me. I kinda liked her, from what I remember. I think that I didn't like the main character chick very much, because she began so weak. Without Miranda she wasn't much of anything... Or rather, she was built by the people around her. I don't remember very much of the film though, that's just my general impression of it.

8 Femmes sounds awesome!! I wish I could watch it. It's only available translated here, and there's no way I'm watching it in English. Eight women and a murder mystery comedy with character songs...

You have no idea how much money I would give to just look through your movie collection right now.

she was built by the people around herYes, I believe so. Now that I think about it, she's rather... re-buildable! Miranda in fanfic is always more or less the same but Andy can vary a lot more depending on the writer. Sometimes I've seen fics where the writers has warned that now this is a fic where Miranda is a little bit OC but I've never seen any such warnings about Andy, and that must mean that people are more tolerant about different opinions about what's "in character" for her. Interesting ( ... )

Un, very much so. I think that adds a lot of flare for a movie/situation, but it also makes it hard to define a character. I just didn't "understand" her appeal ( ... )

Oh, if Greta Garbo is unknown to you, go look her up immediately. ;) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greta_Garbo The Hours is… fanfiction, sort of. :) The movie is based on a book by Michael Cunningham. It is a novel with three parallel stories that becomes intertwined, the first is the story of Virginia Woolf at the time when she was writing Mrs Dalloway (“The Hours” was her working title for the novel). The second is the story of a woman, a housewife in the 1950’s, who is reading the book and is greatly influenced by it. The third part is about a woman called Clarissa (like mrs. Dalloway) in modern time. Novels are never called “fanfiction”… I read an essay about The Hours in a book about narrative theory and the author had problems defining what kind of literature this books is (not a pastiche, not really an imitation of Woolf when it comes to the details of the writing, not a satire, but it’s definitely more than an allusion…) but isn’t fanfic at its finest a ( ... )

CAMILLE!!!! That's what I know Greta Garbo from!!! :D The Hours sounds amazing; I can order it, but I have no idea what language it would end up being in so I'll look for it the next time I go to a book store.

I also have Dogma and Kill Bill! <3 those movies, hehehe. I have Silence of the Lambs, Heathers, The First Wives, and Saw II -- all of which I have not seen. They're on VHS (The Saw series and Kill Bill are miraculously on DVD). And that's all of the live action movies I own XD Nine movies total, and I have only seen four of them ( ... )

Good, I’m glad you know her form somewhere. (Well, if you didn’t… who can keep track of everyone and everything that ever have existed. There are so many names from the history of popular culture. I have an internet friend who used to work in Hollywood a long time ago and she mentioned all these names of people she met and admired; apparently there were quite a lot of Swedish actresses there but of all of the names she mentioned I only recognized Greta Garbo and Ingrid Bergman [but she didn’t meet those two] and she talked of all of them as if it was common knowledge, ha ha. And most of the American old stars she mentioned were also just names to me, with some exceptions ( ... )

*giggles* I like the kind of attitude your friend showed, that everyone knew the actors/actresses because they were important to her. I think that is so important; To have a true connection with the people you enjoy, like having met a famous actress ( ... )

Taste in books, like so many other things, change over time I guess. When you mention princesses I’m reminded of the historical romance novels (often royalty in them) I liked to read when I was in my mid teens… ;) I also read fantasy novels back then, but nowadays I only read the fantasy written by one of my friends. I read quite a lot because I review novels for the local newspaper but other than that I’m ashamed to say that I read a lot more when I was younger! (Not that reading fanfic is not reading…..) Ten years ago I read almost anything from poetry to Jane Austen to crime fiction to anything that I could find with a gay character (well, but I swallowed those few handfuls of books pretty quickly). Some of my favorite writers are Virginia Woolf, Joyce Carol Oates, Nina Bouraoui (French), Selma Lagerlöf (Swedish)… Some of my favorite books of all times are “Jane Eyre”, “Possession” (A.S. Byatt), “To the Lighthouse” (Woolf), “Bellefleur” (Oates), the collected poems by Karin Boye and Edith Södergran (Swedish…) well, there are so ( ... )
