A Snow day
Well, as many of you know in Victoria, it is currently snowing. Already people are running from the hills in fear taht this will be another blizzard issue, and for one, would be glad. I'm not a fan of snow in any form. There is nothing 'fun' about frozen water that gets everywhere and eventually melts back into the starting form and gets everywhere even more.
The worst thing about the snow is the people driving in it. We were told at work that the busses were stuck somewhere along route and that the service would be halted. I don't know about you, but for me, stuck at west, sucks ass. Worst on top of that, paychecks were delayed until 2 pm for some reason...grrr...
Let's see, what else can I bitch about besides snow and cold? The guy has a cold and insists on going to work and not getting better. I pretty much let people go as they wish, but in the case of him, I was a little worried. His gun ho attitude about it and the fact that he was so sick, made me a little uneasy. Of course, I got a message form him and then hadn't heard for him in a day, but I hope he is getting well instead of say, getting sicker. I also worry about him being on the road with all the bad, bad Victoria drives..I suppose I will have to wait and see..maybe he might grace me with contact... :P
Other than that, last night was good. Low, low call volumes. So low that when 1/3 of the people on calls went for a team meeting, there were still barely any calls. There is also this guy at work that is scaring me a little...everytime i look around, he is peering over at me from another row and making strange gestures. Perhaps he is jsut weird, at least that is what I was hoping, until he started to blow kisses at me...umm...riggght...
Sat is almost here, and I'm not sure what i am doing. I'm sure I know waht I want to do, but you never know what will happen. Perhaps, oncee again, I will be graced by a short phone call, just so I know people are n't dead..then again, I don't believe he checks my blog all that often. :P
