But...but...she had like a whole bunch of...hours with the ancients. ::nods:: Maybe it's like dog years. *snerk* ;)

Oh yes, and hours around the ancients are like YEARS amongst humans. Imagine the stuff you can learn. *dry*

*snerk* Exactly! And I mean...those, what, minutes outside the stasis chamber to change the ZPMs around? Well, obviously our little Lizzie is very good at learning through osmosis. ;)

You're a genius, you know that? This old/young Elizabeth thing never occurred to me. Guess I could get a job writing for the series, eh?

*snort*

I just, it bothered me the first time, but I never actually noted it on livejournal. It's sort of exactly the sort of thing that makes me sad for stargate, because there's a certain level of logical plotting that just isn't coming from the writers and it weaves so tightly into the plot that it gets tangled inside when the characters, within their own characterization are being illogical.

Hee! Maybe she lived in stasis, though? Like the people on the Aurora?

But yes, I agree with you. Actually, any time Elizabeth comes down as the voice of wisdom I get a little annoyed. (I don't really like Elizabeth...)

You know, within the context of the character, I wouldn't mind as long as she:

a. sounded wise
b. was giving wisdom pertaining to her actual supposed background of expertise.

Bugged me too. I figured they wanted to put across the Terribly Traumatic Events she'd been through, watching all of her expedition dying and all. Plus whatever she may or may not have experienced with the Ancients/in stasis.
Still bugged me, though. Now I figure that if they think they can pull off exploding tumors, they think they can pull off anything...
