You ever get tired of explaining to people that there really ARE explanations behind things that annoy them and it's not just petty and mean on the part of say.... studio execs? That it all may seem stupid to them (and yes it may in fact be stupid or a lark, but that isn't necessarily the case) and just because it inconveniences them doesn't mean ( Read more... )

Yeah, and not just fandom things. I do get tired of explaining to people that managers do things for reasons other than to annoy them, and sometimes they are good reasons. And while they might find whatever-it-is annoying, managers have a right to manage and sometimes the only thing you can do is suck it up.

*nodnod* God yeah.

It's seriously not just about you and you want to bet that more often than not, management KNOWS the pain in the ass changing things or making things different will be and has weighed that already in their decision, or has no choice?

And what I hate are the people who rally against it who obviously can't see the reasons through their unmitigated anger.

*headdesk to the nth degree*

I write web-based software for medical lab techs. They like to keep their eyes on the biohazards, rather than the computer screen, and they are all touch typists.

However, the guy who is supposed to be helping design the system is perpetually under the delusion that the users have never seen a keyboard and adore clicking on random locations in the browser window.

The attempts to explain never cease.
