You ever get tired of explaining to people that there really ARE explanations behind things that annoy them and it's not just petty and mean on the part of say.... studio execs? That it all may seem stupid to them (and yes it may in fact be stupid or a lark, but that isn't necessarily the case) and just because it inconveniences them doesn't mean there can't be a DAMN GOOD REASON for it? At least a very logical one.
