A year has passed by since the confession. Yuto and Keito were inseparable. Well, that’s what everyone around them describes them. They would go to school together, having their break together, go home together, everything together.
Keito was waiting for Yuto at the train station. Today was their first anniversary. Yuto told him the day before that he wanted to bring Keito to somewhere special. Keito was getting anxious by thinking about that place.
“Keito…”
Keito turned to the source of the voice. He saw Yuto was running towards his direction while waving his hand in the air. Within seconds, Yuto finally stood in front of Keito with a smile plastered on his face.
“Keito, gomen I’m late…” said Yuto while bowing slightly.
“It’s okay… Now, where are we going?” asked Keito.
Yuto took Keito’s hand into his. “Paradise…” he smiled.
Keito pouted upon hearing the answer. Yuto pinched Keito’s cheek lightly and both of them walked into the train. It took 30 minutes to get to their destination. After they got off the train, they walked for 10 minutes.
“Eh? Here?” asked Keito and pointed at the amusement park that located in front of them.
Yuto smiled. “Yes…” he said.
“Ehh? Is this the paradise that you’ve said?” asked Keito.
“Don’t ask anymore and let’s have fun, my dear…” said Yuto and pulled Keito towards the entrance.
Hours has passed by, the two boys just enjoyed themselves. They rode all sort of attraction there. The last attraction that they rode was the ferris wheel. They watched the scenery in front of them while holding onto each other hands.
“Keito…” Yuto called.
“Hmm?” Keito replied without looking at Yuto.
“I love you…” he said and Keito immediately turned and looked at him.
“Eh?”
“I just want to say it again while we ride this…” Yuto said while smiling.
Keito was blushing. He just leaned forward and hugged Yuto.
“I love you too Yuto…” he broke the hug and kissed Yuto on the lips.
After a few moments they pulled apart and blushed when looked at each other. Yuto turned to look at his watch.
“Ahh, it almost time… We need to run after this so that it won’t be late…” said Yuto.
“To where?” asked Keito as they took a step out from the ferris wheel.
“Somewhere…” Yuto answered and gave a sheepishly smile.
Yuto pulled Keito and Keito just followed to where Yuto had brought him to. Soon later, they arrived on top of a hill. They didn’t utter a word as they panted and trying to catch some breath after running.
“Ahh, we arrived just at the right time…” said Yuto and looked at the scenery.
Keito turned to look at where Yuto was looking at. Keito was amazed by the view, it was the sunset. Keito just looked at the sunset and it was one of the beautiful views he had ever seen since he moved back to Japan.
Suddenly, Keito felt a pair of arms was wrapping around his waist. Keito smiled and leaned back towards Yuto’s chest and Yuto put his chin onto Keito’s shoulder as he tightens the hug.
“This is the paradise I was talking about… Do you like it?” asked Yuto.
“Of course I would love it, especially when I’m watching it with you, Yuto…” said Keito.
Keito turned as he was still in Yuto’s embrace. He leaned a bit and kissed Yuto on the lips.
“Thanks for today, I had so much fun…” he said after he pulled apart.
Yuto kissed him. “You’re welcome…” he replied.
‘Thanks Yuto, because of you, I found a new life, a new light for me to continue my life after I moved here… I love you...’ Keito mumbled in his heart as he snuggled into the embrace.
