YAY FOOD!

We had a great Thanksgiving. It was the four of us, my FIL, b1uemorpho, englishlitrulz, and an international student from India who is studying at Northwestern. ALL the food turned out GREAT, despite the oven turning itself off several times (delaying the turkey), despite the over-risen rolls (which baked...oddly), and despite the pumpkin pies being undercooked. But the turkey was AWESOME. The stuffing with cranberries was AWESOME. The mashed potatoes were FANTASTIC, as were the sweet potatoes. There was green bean casserole, there were peas. It was ALL GOOD.

I also made a cherry crumble this morning and an apple one this evening. And b1uemorpho brought pecan pie.

It was great day.

Happy Thanksgiving to anyone observing and I wish the sentiment to all anyway.
