Mary McDonnell has a guest spot for 3 eps on Grey's Anatomy starting November 13. I guess I'm going to have to watch the show (for 3 eps). I think I'll do it in the "fast-forward over the other plotline" ways. There's a photo and she has her hair in the middle on top just pulled back in a simple clip...it's fairly amusing since it's not entirely attractive but TOTALLY practical.
"Mary McDonnell to Play Surgeon With Asperger's on Grey's Anatomy" Q&A with Mary McDonnell I also love that the article, in describing the social awkwardness of AS, parenthetically say, "Think Emily Deschanel's Brennan on Bones." *grin* One comment was from someone who works with kids with AS and said vehemently, "Bones does not have AS; she just sees the world differently." And I was like...um...that's, like, part and parcel of AS for many: seeing the world differently.
But...Mary McDonnell! Yay! I'm so excited for BSG to end so I can read the summaries and watch the show. :-)
