Fic Rec: SG1: Sam and Sha're chat
"The View From Up Here" by the ever-wonderful annerbhp. SG1, Sam and a Sha're who didn't die go on a hike together, in a story after the disclosure of the Stargaate program following the defeat of the Goa'uld turns everyone from the SGC into instant celebrities, much to their displeasure.
My favorite moment:
"Change is not the same as loss," Sha’re says softly, her hands slipping from Sam’s arm as she returns the greeting.
Maybe not, Sam thinks. But that doesn’t mean they don’t sometimes feel an awful lot alike.
