At this point, my 5-year-old daughter has participated in the following fannish activities:
-marathoning shows
-discussing shows
-looking at photos on the computer
-trying to show stuff she likes to others
-writing fanfic
-making fan art (she drew Rose, the Doctor, and the TARDIS the other day--GREAT TARDIS)
-begging to be allowed to stay up late to watch her show
-shipping characters without ANY encouragement (trust me; I do not encourage Sarah Jane/Harry!)
I'm so proud!
My son is also loving Doctor Who and specifically asking to watch it. *grin*

Elf's narration of her picture story
The Balloon Monster
by ELF
This is the cover. I made it. It's a little balloon monster. It has Rose and the Doctor on it. Rose is colored in purple. I colored the Doctor in brown.
This is the house that the little kid was in. The kid was looking out the window.
This is the balloon monster's friend--a little balloon monster. But it's a different balloon monster. It makes eggs.
And then Rose found an egg from the balloon monster.
Then the Doctor made a snowman because he made a little too much ice.
And then the Doctor and Rose lived happily ever after.
The end.
