I celebrate "it's cold and damp and miserable and DARK out, so I want to make people smile because that brings light back into the world" personally.
The first five people to respond to this post will get a handwritten card or letter from me along with a handmade present of some sort. You'll need to provide your mailing address if I don't already have it. I'll reply to your comment with my email address if you're one of the 5. In return, all you need to do is repost this on your LJ and offer to make things for 5 other people or write something by hand to send to 5 other people.
The Point of this meme is to spend time on someone else, as far as I can tell. And spending time on others, making someone else smile, is the best of the "reasons for the season."
