A/N: written for kpfm 15 minutes challange. done in a hurried frenzy cos i was called into a meeting and therefore is lapslocked.
wooyoung drowns himself in the silence of watching the stars, letting the moment linger around him like a haze. beside him, jieun watches passerbys with intent interest, round eyes focusing on individuals interacting with each other.
he likes watching the sky, because its comforting that he knows that those stars are still going to be tomorrow, and the day after, months after, and even years after. sometimes he wishes time could stay as still and constant as stars, or at least just for now. he likes the dullness of the colour of the sky because it takes him off the chaos that is being an idol.
she likes watching people, making up stories in her head about their life just based on what she sees and where her imagination takes her. it's so much easier to watch people than being watched, and jieun find it comforting that for once, she is not in the spotlight and being watched and scrutinized for every single thing she does. she likes the distinct colours of everyone's life because it takes her away from the mundane life of being an idol.
more than anything, they like to sit together and stay silent like this, because they both find the silence enveloping them to be comforting. because when you know each other as well as they do, heart to heart conversations are just simply overrated.
