So, as part of my personal New Year's Resolutions, I am, for the first time in my life, on an Actual. Written. Budget. I've done the whole zero-balance budget as advised by the Great Dave Ramsey. Jason actually helped me out a whole lot and set up a google spreadsheet for me (thanks again Jason!) so I just plugged things in, moved things around as I needed and Voila!
While I am alarmed at how little money I have right now, I am secure in the fact that ALL of my bills have already been mailed/paid for the month of January.
Anyone else done this before? Any advice?
