Future

Morning comes and the curtains close. He never forgets, never allows himself to forget, because he loves me. He loves me the way that Angel never did, because Angel was a soulless demon. A soulless demon like I was - like I am. Perhaps he and I were never meant to be in love. I swear it’s Drusilla’s turn next, watch her try and go after my lawyer. Try being the operative word, naturally - I’d dust her myself if I had to.

Just because I won’t lower myself to be with a filthy human doesn’t mean she’s allowed to be with him. Of course I have no actual reason to believe that she’ll decide that Lindsey’s her type - and Dru certainly isn’t his type, she’s a bit too gone in the head thanks to my darling Angelus. But that Slayer girl’s got both Angel and Spike wrapped around her little finger, so I wouldn’t be surprised.

I should dust them all and be done with it. Bring all of them - Angelus, Drusilla, Spike, Lindsey - into a room and tie them all up. Then kill them one by one..

I'd kill Drusilla first. See how strong William the Bloody is when his paramour crumbles into dust before his eyes. See how much he loves his Slayer then. Spike would be next, because Angel would have to be last. He was first, he'd have to be last.

Then Lindsey would see that it's him I love. I couldn't turn him into a vampire though. The power needs to belong to me alone; besides, he wouldn't be Lindsey without his soul, tarnished though it may be.

These thoughts will give me pleasant dreams tonight.
