I finished uploading what I think is all the fic I've posted on Live Journal (at
counterfeitcoin). Most of the author's notes are the same as in the original version, unless they made no sense to me. The stories are the same. I just went through my memories in the order they came in, so there is no order here that might resemble a catalog of development or change in style. Have I started writing better or have I regressed? The only way anyone will find out is if they comb through my mess of fic themselves and decide. I don't think I really care.
I didn't reread any of the fic I've written, unless you count skimming in a few cases to figure out what the pairing or fandom was. I did trim the author's notes, as I mentioned above. At first it was to figure out what the story was about because I'd forgotten I'd written it or why it came about. It was a real trip. I was remembering when I first started talking to people, or people I don't talk to any more, or people who inspired me to challenge myself who I wish I still talked to.
(Except not enough to actually do it, because quickly after the last item I remembered why I stopped wanting to talk to whoever in the first place.)
All right. I guess tomorrow I'll start publicizing this journal. Or at the very least typing up some Criminal Minds stuff. Maybe find some new user pics.
My roommate's shampoo smells really nice.
