I wrote JLU for the poetry unit we did in my high school creative writing class. This is most of it

So in creative writing we had to close our eyes and the teacher gave us a word. We had to write down the first thing that came to mind. Rinse, repeat, write poetry about it, and that was basically class. Four of the images I came up with were Justice League-related. That's not even the messed up part. That is the poetry I wrote to them. Two little poems about my JL-icious imaging. The last one scared Kristin (yay!--er...) I need a life.

Word: Solitude
--Someone Comes to Visit--
Cold and bare, sprawled out on the
soft chorus of water dripping
and bats squealing.
Close your eyes or open, the darkness stays the same.
Constant cold flutters his cape
and makes him forever pale,
alone with his solitude and barren rocks and scars,
just not tonight.
Please, Bruce,
just not tonight.

AND

Word: Ecstasy (come on, you can see where it's going...)
--Better Than Drugs--
He writhes around with tense muscles-
this is better than that time he took drugs.
He's Wally today, with John between his legs
trying to suck away the leftover energy.
A finger hitting his prostate, another one scissoring out,
this is what ecstasy is:
the black spots edging into his sight
as John takes him in up to the curls
and swallows.
