Snagged from
nakeisha, who gave me “17”…
(rules:)
Comment saying you want to play. I give you an age, and you compare the life you were living at that age to the one you have now.
At age 17 . . .
- I lived in: my parents’ house, outside Philadelphia, PA
- I drove: nothing. I did not want to drive, no way, no how
- I was in a relationship with: no one. Unless books count…
- I feared: not much, really… although maybe my semi-irrational fear of taking things out of the oven had started by then…
- I worked at: nowhere. I didn’t get a job until I was out of college
- I wanted to be: by this point, I knew I wanted to be a writer and/or a college Literature professor (in my much younger days, I wanted to be a paleontologist)
Now . . .
- I live in: still with my parents, same house, same bedroom even
- I drive: Yes, I do! I just got my license this past October, and I drive the cutest little red Smart.
- I am in a relationship with: no one. Well, still the books…
- I fear: still working on the taking-stuff-from-the-over, actually
- I work at: MOPAC Rendering, as the night-shift weighmaster (which is a spiffy way of saying I weigh the trucks as they come in and do other assorted paperwork)
- I want to be: still working on becoming a writer- my first novel is done/in late-stage editing/needs a cover
