“Dammit, DiNozzo,” Gibbs growled. “What is it with you and getting kidnapped?”
Tony had been missing for eighteen hours, trapped in a dingy warehouse subbasement with a dozen new bruises and a spectacular concussion. And complete faith that his team would find him.
And they had. The warmth of Gibbs’s hand on his shoulder did more against the cool night air than the blanket from the EMTs
He turned to smile up at Gibbs. “Maybe they just have good taste?”
Gibbs rolled his eyes, but Tony knew there was a bed already made up for him in Gibbs’s guest room.
