I’ve read a few of the Torchwood novels, and I think they pick plots that would be too involved for the BBC’s special effect budget- not that I’m complaining! The whole team is in this one, with overlapping storylines that weave in and out of each other before finally winding up all in the same place. A fast-paced read, and a good one.
