Jacob woke feeling that someone was watching him, but there was no one there.
Good morning, said a sudden voice in his head.
“Selmak,” he said, startled. “Sorry, I… this is still weird.”

“Yesterday, I thought Earth humans were alone in the universe. Now, I’m halfway across it, sharing my body with an alien! I mean, what am I even supposed to do here?”
We rest, said Selmak, And learn about each other. I know some of your thoughts, now, but perhaps you could tell me more about the Earth creatures called… Fraggles?
