“Well, Probie, since you insisted on searching the house-”
“You told me to, because it’s such a nice day,” McGee protested.
“-I was stuck with the yard, where I fell in the creek and I didn’t even find anything. What about you?”
McGee smiled sheepishly and held up an evidence bag. “I found the murder weapon.”
“Of course you did.”
“But, hey… you were right.”
Tony huffed a laugh. “I was right. Today is not my day.”
McGee patted his wet shoulder. “There’s always tomorrow.”
