“You are inebriated,” the angel said, softly.
“What does that matter?”
“It should matter, Dean.”
“C’mon, Cas…”
Cas rested his hand on Dean’s arm, where his handprint had been. “You still believe you have so little to offer that you deserve to be used and abandoned. I will not do that.”
“Cas…”
“We can talk in the morning.”
“You’ll stay?” Dean asked, pleading.
Cas smiled warmly. “I’ll stay.”
