“Ooh, I wonder what McGee got.”
Knight started toward the brown-wrapped package on his desk, but Torres said, “I wouldn’t do that if I were you.”
She paused, eyes narrowed. “Why not?”
“Well, for one, opening other people’s mail is a federal offense. And, two, that box is from DiNozzo.”
“Like, McGee’s old partner, DiNozzo?” asked Knight. “He wouldn’t send anything dangerous. Would he?”
“No. But I still wouldn’t open that. Those two have been having a prank war since, like, Two-Thousand-Five, and they don’t let having an ocean in between stop them.”
“Prank war? McGee?”
Torres grinned. “Just wait.”
