Kasie grinned, chin propped on the edge of his cubicle wall, “Sorry, I couldn’t resist. And it’s only fair, you guys are always sneaking up on me.”
“True,” he allowed. “I never understood why they built the lab with the main work station facing away from the door.”
“We can’t all be suspicious like field agents,” she teased.
“That’s probably a good thing,” smiled McGee, then, “We could rearrange it, if that would help.”
She smiled back. “Nah, I’m used to everything where it is. But thanks.”
“Anytime.”
