The computer made a rude-sounding beep and Tony frowned, “My password’s not working.”
“An error?” asked McGee.
“I don’t have clearance.” He sounded offended. “I’m Senior Field Agent.”
Kate frowned, too. “Then who does?”
“Only Gibbs and the director.”
“The director’s unavailable,” she said. “And Gibbs is the reason we need these files. So we’re stuck.”
McGee hesitated. “Not… necessarily.”
“Probie?” demanded Tony.
“I may know Gibbs’s password,” he said quickly.
“Probie,” Tony repeated, sounding impressed.
“Ever since IT required them to include numbers and symbols, he always asks for help and - Here we go! Don’t tell Gibbs.”
“Our secret.”
