Mulder wearily opened the door to their hallway, “I can’t believe it was another hoax.”
“It’s never aliens,” Scully told him, unsympathetic. “Because there’s no such thing.”
“We don’t know that,” he protested. “There could be - Can I help you?”
The woman straightened, dark pigtails bouncing. “Oh, hello.” She had a British accent. “I was just looking for-”
“Vala Mal-Doran,” said a large man, wearing an old-fashioned fedora. “This area is restricted.”
“I was just…” the woman sighed, “Fine, Muscles, ruin my fun.”
She flashed a grin as she left, and Mulder sighed as he opened their office door.
