BFI's top 50 film to see before age 14

Inspired by epiclevelregina 's recent blog post, I decided to see how many of the British Film Institute's top 50 films kids should see before the age of 14 I have seen, and which I saw before age 14:

• Bicycle Thieves NO
• E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial YES / yes (thanks to Mom.)
• Kes NO
• Les Quatre Cents Coups NO
• The Night of the Hunter NO

so many french films!

also, i noticed you added The Little Princess to the secret garden, which are two movies i also associate with each other. i used to watch them and eat chicken noodle soup EVERY time i got sick

I highly recommend Spirited Away and Whale Rider.
