Okay..so I'm going to have nightmares tonight about catapillars covering me in...whatever that is. And note to self: stay away from Sweden.
Do you ever finding that by explaining that since you are from Vermont, this serves as an explanation or an answer to a lot of things? Like, for example, the other day, my waitress asked me
"Why do you need maple syrup?"
"For my [cheddar chipolte] grits."
Odd look.
"I'm from Vermont." That's all you need to know, dammit.
Anywho, I watched Shopgirl the other day, and was pleased to see this line is actually used by other people than myself. Even if it is a fictional character in a movie.
When Claire Danes' character (moved to LA from Vermont) is tlaking to her co-worker and her co-worker tells her the best way to get a guy is to give him lots of head, then cut him off, and he'll want more but she's got him "hooked." Claire Danes' character says "Oh, I couldn't do that." and her co-worker says "Why not?" and she says "I'm from Vermont."
Right.
