Ba. Ha. Ah. FINALLY. I can't even believe I heard Ali's sweet, sweet voice this morning. Even if she was half asleep.
I spent all of last night comforting Britney because her boyfriend Nate had been missing for 3 days, and his parents filed a missing person's report. It was fun. Nate's Mom is literally a crazy person (in so much medication, in and out of the hospital, tried to kill herself in front of Nate twice) and she spent two hours talking to Britney and had her convince that her own boyfriend, whoo she knows better than anyone else in the world, is a drug addict that's been lying to her for the past 2 years and using her for money. Yeah. So that was fun.
As it turns out, Nate showed up this morning from a surfing trip he took because he was angry (at his Mom, go figure) and had to get away. His cell phone has been broken for a while, and he dropped it off to be repaired before he left. Blah. Thank god he's okay.
I, on the other hand, have been doing nothing but cleaning and reading, and lounging around. Oh, and I spent all day yesterday at my friend's pool. Asheville is the hottest place on the earth, sweaty-sweaty-sweat-sweat. And my hair is one big constant curly frizz ball that I don't even bother to try and tame or brush anymore.
