Finding Mr. Right: Episode 6

Dec 21, 2013 01:10

Here's another chapter of finding mr right! ahhh this took forever to write cause yeah so many men and so many feels lol

His lips lightly touched her own before her hands shot up, putting some distance between each other. Sho looked at her with surprise before realizing that the look on her face had changed. She was no longer her former self as her actress side took over the role she was supposed to be portraying.

“Enough Ryou…I can’t do this any longer,” she murmured before fully pushing him away.

Sho blanked for a moment and looked to his script for the next line but the scene was over. He couldn’t help but smile as he watched her face transition back to the soft Akira he knew and not the serious actress face she donned so many times.

“Wow it’s amazing to experience your acting first hand. I’m honored to have had this moment,” Sho told her before extending a hand out to her.

“A-Ah, thank you. You have a pretty fast memorization skill, as guess that’s expected of a reporter,” she tried to compliment him back as she blushed and avoided his eyes.

“Good job sis! That’s some good acting!!” Noriko yelled from her seat as she clapped.

Akira looked out to the crowd and smiled at her sister while Sho slipped away off stage. The next one to come up was the composer Kazunari Ninomiya. He casually made his way up, lying on the couch with the script on his stomach.

“What are you doing?” she asked going over to his side.

“I stayed up all night composing so I’m resting now…but I saw this script on the couch, is it a new work of yours?” he explained.

“Yeah, I got a new role as this girl caught up in relationship with a bad guy who controls me but she breaks away from him in an attempt to rid herself of the toxic relationship,” Akira explained as she sat on the arm of the couch.

“Sounds sad, I don’t get how women end up in those kinds of relationships. At least you’re fortunate enough to have a loving boyfriend like me,” he smirked as he reached up and took her hand in his, rubbing it lovingly with his thumb.

She felt her heart stop for a moment before she shyly pulled her hand away and stood up, “Will you read along with me? I need someone to practice with.”

“Sure,” he answered before sitting up and taking the script up in his hands.

Akira closed her eyes as she got herself in character. Kazunari watched her transition into the character, her everything subtly changing into the woman in the script.

“I can’t take this anymore…we’re over Ryou…I can’t take you hurting me like this anymore,” she repeated as she closed her eyes, wrapping her arms around herself as she displayed the hurt she was feeling.

She waited for the arms to wrap around her suddenly, but instead the arms this time wrapped around her gently and carefully. She felt this approach matched the character better as the manipulative boyfriend who wanted to keep the girl forever by his side.
“I won’t hurt you ever again so please don’t disappear from my sight again.”

She opened her eyes and looked into his face and saw the angelic smile that hid the devilish side of the boyfriend. He put his fingers under her chin, tilting it slightly as he went in for the kiss. She felt the complex emotions of the character who wanted nothing more than to trust and believe this man, but she knew better. She pushed him away and took a step away, turning her face away from him.

“Enough Ryou…I can’t do this any longer…”

“Ahhh it still hurts being rejected by you even though this isn’t real!” Kazunari joked as he clenched his chest.

Akira snapped out of her character and started to laugh lightly at his words. He seemed so chilled and relaxed as he tossed the script aside and walked towards her.

“Make me feel better and give me a kiss since our characters couldn’t,” he whispered to her in her ear as he took her in his arms.
She blushed furiously before shaking her head and answering, “Not in front of everybody…”

“Well then maybe we can finish this in private some other time,” he coyly responded before letting her go.

Her heart was beating like mad as she watched him go, his actions driving her crazy. She sat on the couch and squished her face with the palms of her hands, trying to regain her composure. When she heard the next pair of footsteps approaching she looked up to see the cute smile on Kai’s face. He approached her carefully, his shyness showing through the apprehension he had at getting too close. Just watching him made her feel at ease which made her instinctively pat the empty seat next to her.

“Come have a seat,” she invited him sweetly.

His smile widened as he quickly went over and sat beside her, his body stiff next to her own relaxed one. She wondered what she could say to get him to relax with her.

“Jongin its ok, just relax. Pretend like we’re on stage and you have to give the best performance you’ve ever given before. I’m your dance partner today so let’s dance beautifully,” she tried to encourage him.

He took a moment to let it sink in before smirking and pulling her close. He adjusted so that the two were cuddled up on the couch with Akira sitting between Kai’s legs, his arms wrapped around her. Akira held the script in her hands but she kept quiet as she tried to steady her racing heart. She felt his chin rest on her shoulder, the warm breath gliding over and warming her exposed skin. His entire body seemed to wrap around her, but she didn’t mind in the lightest for some reason. It was as if being there was natural as they sat in silence together.

“Do we have to move? Can we read lines like this?” he asked cutely.

She couldn’t help but giggle at his words and nodded her head. She adjusted to be able to read her script, feeling Kai take one arm from around her to hold the script properly.

“I can’t take this anymore…we’re over Ryou…I can’t take you hurting me like this anymore…” she read lightly.

“Don’t laugh at me I’m not an actor…” he cleared his throat before reading, “I won’t hurt you ever again so please don’t disappear from my sight again!”

Suddenly Akira felt her body quickly be flipped so that she was now lying on the couch, looking up into Kai’s face. He smiled coyly at her, caressing her cheek lightly before leaning down. Forgetting the script she couldn’t help but close her eyes, feeling his lips lightly brushing over hers then pressing down further. She felt his fingers run from her face to the side of her head through her hair, her own hands going up to touch his face. As he pulled away she opened her eyes and playfully pushed him away with a faint blush on her face.

“Enough Ryou…I can’t do this any longer…” she tried to at least finish her line.

He ran his hand down the side of her thigh as he answered, “Cut and scene. I think we should try that again I don’t think I quite got that down.”

She couldn’t help but chuckle as she lay complacently beneath him, his fingers running up and down her leg smoothly. There was just something about him that made her feel so at ease and yet on edge at the same time. She questioned whether or not this is what they called sexual tension. Whatever it was called she couldn’t help but lay there and wonder what they’d do next. To her disappointment he pulled away and got off the couch, reminding her that there were still other contestants ready for their turn.

“I’m turning into something else with these guys,” she mumbled to herself as she recomposed herself and readied for the next guy.

“You looked really comfortable with that guy from before, Kai was it?” Ravi asked as he walked across and approached her.

“Aren’t you Leo’s partner?” she answered with her own question.

“Yup I’m the rapper of our duo. I’m not much of an actor but I’ll try my best,” he answered her before taking up the script. “Maybe I should read this like a rap?”

She smiled at his joking, feeling the carefree attitude he had. He smiled back at her before jogging around the stage quickly to see what all it had on it. Then he went running back to Akira’s side, reminding her of a small puppy exploring its new home.

“Well…I guess we need to start then?” he said before moving and lying out so that his head rested on Akira’s lap, his feet dangling off the side of the couch.

He looked at the script for a minute before tossing it aside and curling up. He closed his eyes and smiled as he nestled into her. She chuckled at him, reminding her even more of a pet. She stroked his hair like she would a cat, smiling down at him.

“Forget about those lines, I just want to lay here forever with you Akira,” he mumbled just loud enough for her to hear it.

She blushed slightly before the two met eyes causing her heart to race faster. Her eyes darted away from her shyness which made Ravi laugh to himself about her cuteness. He wrapped his arms around her waist and placed his face against her stomach.

“W-What are you doing?” she asked.

“I was wondering if I’d be able to hear your racing heart from down here,” he answered her.

“You’re so weird!” she exclaimed before pushing him off the couch.

He landed with a loud thud before breaking out into laughter.

“Why are you laughing?”

“You’re so cute!” he explained which caused her only more embarrassment.

“I-I can’t do this with you anymore! Next person!” Akira snapped as she failed to hide her blush from everyone.

“I don’t regret anything since I got to cuddle with such a cute girl,” he commented lastly before leaving.

She groaned loudly as she paced around the couch feeling frustrated by Ravi. As she paced around she almost ran into the next contestant who stared at her with big owl eyes.

“Sorry about that,” she apologized to him.

“It’s ok…are you alright now?” D.O asked.

She nodded her head which got her a heart shaped smile from him. Her heart instantly skipped a beat at the sight. He came off as a bit cautious as he shuffled his way to sit on the couch, sitting down and looking around curiously. He bounced up and down before making an impressed face at the softness of the cushion. He smiled to himself before looking up at Akira who just stared him with interest.

“Ah, please…you can sit…” he nervously mumbled patting the seat next to him and scooting over to give her most of the room on the couch.

“You know you sang a song for the OST of one of my dramas. Do you remember meeting me at the press conference?” she asked as she sat down.

“…um yeah I do actually…it was a pleasure meeting you but it was so brief. I was hoping through this we would be able to spend more time together…” he answered shyly with eyes glued to his clasped hands.

Akira could only remember the two sitting at the same table but with so many people between them the two didn’t really have a chance to interact. Instead once the conference was over and everyone was shaking hands the two finally had a moment to greet each other properly. He had seemed more confident and professional then, exchanging polite greetings with her before the two were separated as he had other schedules to attend to. Now sitting before her he seemed just a bit different from his professional singer self.

“Yeah I’d really like to get to know you better too. Last time was really too short,” she answered back before handing over his script.

He grinned before looking over the script, “I’m a singer so go easy on me miss actress.”

“I’m the only actor here but everyone has been doing fine, so relax,” she joked with him.

“Um I guess I should…ah no it’s your part first,” he stumbled over his words as he realized he made a mistake.

Akira couldn’t help but chuckle to herself before turning her body to fully face D.O, “You can relax, remember this is supposed to be like as though we’re together and you just so happen to help me recite lines. I won’t be testing you on acting skills only what happens between us.”

“Between us huh?” his shoulders seemed to relax a bit at the words.

He extended a hand out to her which she gladly took in her own, the two curling up on the couch with fingers interlaced. The two read the lines between each other lightly as if reading aloud a story to each other.

“So you have to play a girl who is manipulated into staying with this guy who loves her but in a scary way? He doesn’t do anything bad to you does he? I don’t think I’d like it if your character got hurt or raped by this guy,” D.O asked with concern as he squeezed her hand.
“I get beat up a bit but the movie doesn’t have the girl getting raped. It’s just the usual abusive relationship gone wrong story. My character lives in the end after she recovers from her boyfriend almost killing her though,” she explained before she was hugged suddenly by D.O.

“What the-?”

“I won’t watch this movie if it goes that far. I’d die just seeing you almost be killed even if it was fake. Sorry, just imagining it a bit upsets me,” he explained himself.

Akira felt touched by his words and calmly hugged him back, smiling to herself. The two held each other longer than expected as they were interrupted by Noriko.

“HEY YOU LOVEBIRDS HOW LONG YOU GONNA HUG?!” she yelled up to the stage.

The two instantly separated with embarrassment clear on their faces. The two walked off stage together to where the others waited with the hostess of the show. She announced to the cameras that Akira would choose tonight who would stay and go, commenting on how diverse the acting was this time around. Akira looked at each of the guys’ faces, remembering each of their moments as she knew this time was going to be hard to choose who’d stay and who’d go.
