Haters No Like, But They Gotta Fuck With It Cuz The Flows So Tight
Today was exciting. It was dominated by the mildly interesting Supreme Court but that was rather insignificant in the long run. It was cool to see how things work, but their legal jargon had me dozing off a few times. Regardless of that, some other sweet stuff happened. Certain thigns are beggining to come full circle. In the morning I went to Senate. That was the start of things going my way today. I wasn't Vice President of my junior class, but now I am Vice President of Student Senate. That was comforting. The musical was also announced. Its gonna be "Footloose" and feature Sean "Murray Time" Murray as Kevin Bacon's character. I'm rather excited for the show and also what might be a fresh start. Its lame to dwell and I pretty much never do, but musical can't be mentioned without that thought. Lastly, marching band had a great rehearsal topped off with Craig Scott, the guy who writes our movements or "drill", commenting on our trumpet section being the best section of marchers he's had since some years of the Boston Crusaders (a professional drum core). I was really pumped to hear that becuase, although Beaver is the lead trumpet, I've taken some leadership responsibility. The trumpets are rocking the marching band this year. I just really hope the whole marching band can rock in the next 3 weeks. So there you have it. I was rested from the long weekend and upon returning back to school tuesday with a relatively good attitude, things are shaping up. Go life.
