Typing whore at work!
I'm trying to prepare myself for a typing test i'm taking at 11am. I have to try and go for 45-50 words per minute in order to reach my goal. Once i get a typing certificate (assuming i'll pass, i really have no clue how i type), i'll be able to copy and mail it to the Sacramento Fire Department dispatcher unit. I heard they might be hiring but i'm not positive, worth giving it a shot i guess. Think all i need to shoot for is 45 WPM, but it's not as easy as it might sound. The actual test is only 5 minutes long (we get a 3 minute practice session before, thank god), so i gotta make it count. I'm pretty nervous (o_O)
Naturally, i can't find my typing CD Rom that i had been using to practice with. Good times. So i'm just trying to warm up my fingers and type this entry as fast as i can LOL
Shit, i gotta get going. The test is in an hour, but i have the most atrocious sense of direction and like to leave plenty of time to get lost =P
