I almost stepped on a bee on my way home today...
It startled me, I glanced down at the sidewalk and there it was, a splash of yellow and black amidst the sea of grey concrete and rubbish. There was something depressing about it, seeing that poor little thing crawling on the ground, so I nudged it along to the other side of the sidewalk, away from people's feet. I have no idea where it came from, there didn't seem to be anything particularly beeish in the area, but it must have a home somewhere.
...I don't think it's going to survive.
