Hinata! You should have called me if you didn't want to decorate your Christmas tree alone! I know I sometimes go a litte overboard but I could have helped you!
Nope. My parents are away on a business trip in Prague or something. I haven't really seen them at all lately. I'll be shocked if they send me something haha.
Oh... Well, you know you're welcome to come around here any time, if you don't have other plans. I was hoping to have a dinner; I don't know if anyone will want to come, but there will be a lot of food regardless.
^_^ I've tried to mix a simple Japanese menu with the traditional American foods to cover all the bases and because it would be nice to have something other than sushi for Christmas, we'll see how it turns out.
It will certainly try to be. If not, it will be a spectacular show. Worst comes to worst no one else will come, and we can... I don't know, do something. Throw a party, have shenanigans.
Or I could actually set the house on fire while using every appliance in this kitchen and every inch of counter space. Hn... If that does happen, you two can share the cute firemen, to make up for my failure.
Or, I suppose, since it seems Neji doesn't plan to come either way, you could always just bring dates or something. Someone to roast marshmallows with while you watch what used to be my building. -_-
Wow, someone in this conversation did not get enough sleep last night if I'm that easily discouraged so early in the morning... Forgive me, bad night.
Oh, and if you're going to terrorize Sakura (or your date) with mistletoe, do please warn me first...
I will probably come solo. It will make life more interesting. If you are going to set anything on fire you should have me cook. I freely admit that if ramen wasn't at stake I probably wouldn't be able to boil water.
Normally I don't have to worry about things like that, but... This is an old kitchen, and I haven't tested it yet. This dinner will be a bit like petting a strange dog; it could make us the best of friends, or I could end up in the emergency room needing stitches.
Uhmmm then how about I offer a solution of sorts. I have a big kitchen and big dining room added bonus I have plenty of parking at the moment. Feel free to come over and cook or just have the party here.
I know for a fact my stove works...as does my fire alarm, if it comes to it...and I have a fire extinguisher. If not I can bring the fire extinguisher
Well I know the stove works I've cooked in it before. I just don't know the precise timing or if there are any quirks, so I'll just have to keep an eye on it to make sure it isn't too hot or too cool or anything in between. I'm trying to time everything so that it will all be done at the right time and nothing will be too early or take too long.
It's a tempting offer, but I wouldn't want to put you out Naruto. Perhaps next time it can be your turn to host? Besides, most of the preparations are already done, and the decorations are mostly up now, I'm going to finish all the preparations I can tomorrow night and start bright and early in the morning. As for the fire extinguisher, I should have one somewhere around here, I haven't really looked.
I know my confidence shines so brightly that I am bringing the fire extinguisher for myself. You never know something could spontaneously combust in the kitchen when I happen to enter it. So I shall hide the extinguisher on my person and you won't know it is there,...until you burn something. I mean, I burn something by going near the kitchen.

I thought kitchen fires and second degree burns were all a part of the christmas tradition?
