It took him half a second to realize that he was in Conner’s house, sleeping on Conner’s bed, using Superboy’s shoulder as a pillow… And they were not alone.

“Hey,” Kon whispered beside him, prompting a small shiver out of Tim as he kissed his head. “Sleep well?”

“For the most part,” Tim murmured hoarsely, yawning and blinking down at the other two occupants still dozing away across his and Kon’s bodies. “So they’re still-“

“Looks like it,” Kon nodded.

“So plan B,” Tim sighed shutting his eyes and dropping his head into Kon’s neck. “I’m calling Zatanna. Hopefully she can figure out how to reverse Billy’s spell.”

“Not right away, you’re not,” Conner frowned. “You need to rest. You were the one who was watching them all day.”

“Hn… They weren’t bad, really.”

Although truth be told, as good as Billy and Teddy were even as children, they were still playful and energetic, easily bored every time Tim wanted to sit. Constantly on the go. And as demanding as his night job was, Tim’s stamina could only go for so long before her needed a little help.

Steph was about the only person he trusted in his “family” with children, but she was away on a mission. And since Dick was usually in Damian’s company and there was no way he’d ever let kids near the hell spawn…

He had considered Tam, but guilt reminded him that he would just be dropping yet another one of his problems on her expecting she could fix it. Plus caring for two currently de-aged superheroes, namely an alien hybrid and a reality altering witch, called for some serious backup.

Kon had suggested Ma Kent, promising to help when he could after school. Tim had tried to reason that she had enough to take care of around the house only to have her laugh when he showed up sheepishly cradling Teddy and Billy in his arms.

“Oh trust me, Tim, I have far more experience than you when it comes to raising super powered boys.”

By the time Kon finally made it home from school, Tim was wiped and had all but passed out against Connor once Billy and Teddy decided to take a nap.

Kon’s hand broke him from his thoughts, reaching over to grab his and squeeze.

“Dude, I can feel you thinking from here. Stop.”

Tim hummed in amusement. “One of us has to use their heads.”

“Oh that was cold, man…”

Tim laughed lowly and rested a hand against Teddy's back to keep him from rolling off his chest.

He wasn’t much for children, but watching Billy suck his thumb and Teddy’s tiny hands clench and unclench gave him the sort of feeling Bats other than Dick or Steph were not supposed to have.

“Gotta admit,” Kon sounded so happy, felt so nice against him, Tim almost felt as content. “They’re cute when they’re like this.”

“Mmm… I guess,” Tim frowned, suddenly feeling a hint of dampness against his abdomen.

Conner chuckled, nuzzling into Tim’s hair. “Getting broody?”

“No,” Tim said slowly, glancing down to where the children were snuggling on his chest. “I think Teddy’s diaper is leaking…”

Kon sniffed then quickly scrunched his nose up in disgust. “Oh ew…”

“Yeah…”

“Well,” Conner coughed, looking slightly pale and more than a little disgusted. “Guess you should, uh-”

“We should change them,” Tim cut in. ”Once they wake up. Which will probably be soon.”

Kon coughed again. “Hey Tim… you know how the Skull are all green and stuff? Well, I have this theory-“

Tim’s head tilted up, gaze steady, but the threat clear on his face. “So help me, Kon, if you try to bail out of helping me change their diapers by telling me that Teddy’s faeces are made of kryptonite, I will make you sleep on the floor.”

“Dude,” Kon whinned. “It’s my house.”

“And who was busy watching teens-turned-toddlers while you were doodling in study hall today?”

Connor opened his mouth to protest, but promptly shut it and huffed. “… Do I really have to?”

“I’ll tell you what,” Tim reasoned. “You can change Billy. I’ll handle Teddy.”

Kon sighed, but shrugged. “Can’t argue with a deal like that.”

“Good.”

Just then, Billy whimpered and stirred, causing Teddy to do the same. Tim met Connor’s gaze and smiled slightly. “Think you can handle this without Ma’s help?”

“If you can do it, I can do it, too.”

“Hn.”

“I mean, they’re kids… and it’s one diaper. How hard can it be?”

Tim had to fight back an “I told you so” when Kon was opening Billy’s diaper... only to realize too late that baby boys don’t know how to aim when they urinate.
